Carolyn Dow
I am a passionate educator and writer with more than a decade of experience mainly with Exceptional Student Services and private tutoring. I hold a Bachelor’s in Human Services and a Master’s in Special Education Cross-Categorical K-12, dedicating my career to empowering young minds. Beyond teaching and writing, I am committed to inspiring and mentoring teens and young adults, guiding them to recognize their God-given value, image, and worth, empowering them to lead enriching lives. I am also in the process of developing courses for their further growth. Additionally, I am expanding my reach by contributing as a co-author to another book anthology titled For the Sake of Our Daughters.
Living in Southeastern Arizona, I share my home with my husband, our young adult daughter, my sister (for whom I am the guardian), two rescue cats, a dog, and a bunny. Previously, I spent 9 years in the editorial department at our local newspaper as a typesetter and volunteered writing briefs, feature stories, and other articles. I met my husband there, and we have been married and renewed since 1995.
